Virtual Reality or “VR” as it’s often coined as is a technology where a computer generates a 3D environment or image to create an immersive experience for the user. What is VR used for? In 1968 Ivan Sutherland and his student Bob Sproull created the first VR / AR head-mounted display called the Sword of Damocles. It was connected to a computer and not a camera. It was heavy for any user to wear comfortably and was suspended from the ceiling. (Unlike VR headsets today) Questions about VR: How much does VR cost? High-end VR headsets can cost upward of $1,000 while cheaper ones can cost as little as $10 Is VR and AR the same? Short answer: No. Long answer: AR uses a real-world setting while VR is completely virtual.

INTRO The fundamentals of how a computer runs is the hardware. People say computer hardware is super complicated but it's not. This post will be a list of computer parts and how they function in the computer. CPU Arguably the most important part of the computer, the CPU is most often regarded as the "brain" of the computer. This part is used for all the processes in the computer from writing Word documents to playing games. The average CPU price range is about $100-$250. Some brands of CPUs are Intel and AMD.  RAM (Random Access Memory) RAM or Random Access Memory is like your computer's short-term memory. If something needs to be stored quickly for later use the RAM is used. Motherboard The Motherboard is the thing that helps other parts communicate with other parts of the computer.
